Summary

"Riftkeeper" is an upcoming sci-fi action-adventure game that focuses on an unnamed protagonist and employee with Omniverse Co. An ex-employee named Hiraeth has broken from the company with one mission: eliminate the core of the omniverse to collapse all timelines and dimensions into one. Players will aim to stabilize the three central worlds to save all universes and stop Hiraeth once and for all.





My Contributions

Project Management

Managed team member responsibilities, kept documentation records, planned meetings, maintained the Atlassian Jira page, and led the team to a successful launch.


Level Design

Whiteboxed levels such as the Hub for quick concept mockups, implemented textures on walls and floors, and positioned assets in an aesthetically and logically sound manner. Designed the Wild West world alongside the other Level Designers to create cohesive and realistic scenes.


Mo-Cap and Animation

Assisted with creating a shot list and recording the mo-cap animations in studio. Implemented all animations for the player character and enemies. Acted as the sole actor for mo-cap animations.



What I learned.


I learned how to properly utilize scripting in Unity to implement art assets, menus, and more. I honed my skills in Project Management and led the team to a successful launch and a 100% on the assignment. I discovered the value of records and documentation of all happenings and the value of playtesting was reintegrated in my mind. I learned the values of ProBuilder and experimental boolean operations within Unity for Level Design support purposes and utilized this knowledge to accomplish whiteboxing and asset implementation.
